long distance ugggghhh.. college dating

While in my first year of college, I matched with someone on Tinder and had a few dates with her. I'm super interested, and I'm sure she is, too. I'm back in my hometown for the summertime, now. I am currently living 3 hours away from where I was attending college (where she lives) and it's driving me a little bit crazy. I've never been in a relationship before, so I was really excited about this good thing we've got going. Now I'm just scared I'm gonna lose this. I'm worried she's gonna get bored of me and find someone else to crush on. I'm hoping to visit her a couple times throughout the summer, but I'm not sure when. I just need to keep this going. We have done 1 virtual date so far: playing games together on FaceTime.

Doesn't help that I'm absolutely touch starved and crave physical proximity. UGGHHHH. This is making me sad-stressed. Help

You should find someone else who lives closer.

And then when they go back after summer is over, jump back to their person? Sounds screwy.

As someone currently in a ldr If both of u put the effort distance relationships can work. It wont be easy tho, there will be days the sadness will beat u, those kinda days u crave their presence and the only thing u want is a hug from them, but im telling you the waiting is so worth it. there isnt a most honest hug than the one you've been waiting for a long time. Its a beautiful thing, but it takes effort from *both* partners, make sure she's into aswell. (I see my love one every 3 months aprox, u got this:) Wish u the bestt)
