I feel sad because an 18 year old boy was stabbed by a complete stranger on his way home from his prom near where I am from. He did not survive his injuries. It is so terrible. He went to the same school I did and had his prom at the same venue as me. It was supposed to be a time where you celebrate your achievements and you look forward to your future and his future and his life have been stolen from him . I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s just so horrible. His poor family. He was just walking to his car to drive home at the end of the night. RIP , I hope you get the justice you deserve.

Does it happen to everyone?
Hello First of all I'm an introverted person and I like to have only a certain group people who generally are like minded not that they all are introverts but...
That's awful. His entire life was taken away for no good reason. It's like the school shooting, kids shouldn't have to worry about being murdered when their whole future is ahead of them. This world is just an awful place, I've been feeling sad about these things too.
ReplyIt’s the fact you can do nothing about it. There is nothing we can say or do to make the situation better for anyone. Society and popular culture only seems to give us happy endings and positive reinforcement. But there is none of this here in reality. There is nothing positive I can conceive out of this. You may make some thing positive as a result of situations like this but in some way it almost validates the actions of the murderer by saying events like this are ‘fate’ and that they are ‘meant to happen for a reason’ . In reality this is a forced fate given to this poor boy by someone who had no right to give it to him. There are people who will say that ‘the boy was in the wrong place at the wrong time’ but he was in the right place. Doing all the things he should have been doing , celebrating his achievements , looking forward to the future. Walking to his car to get home in a built up residential area. But he crossed paths with a person who should not have been there and should not have committed the actions he did. The murderer was in the wrong place at the wrong time and made the wrong choices. This is what makes it so upsetting. There is nothing we can do to change any of it.
ReplyIf this happened in America it isn't surprising with the way people carry on there. It is the only country in the world that has mass shootings and school shootings. So if they don't have a gun they use a knife.
