So I have smoked weed for the past 2 years. And I smoke every day. Now I am trying to give up and I just want to know if anyone had any tips because the first couple of days are usually kinda rough.

I don't have a lot of experience with this, but maybe you can look up a few tips? Just wanted to let you know that I am wishing you luck. I believe in you!
ReplyI never smoked weed but I was a heavy alcohol drinker for a few years until I quit cold turkey. You're right, the first few days are the worst. idk how you are with food, but a lot of people compensate by eating a lot. That's what I did but I also exercised a ton to make up for it (and distract myself from alcohol cravings).
Something that really helped me was ACCOUNTABILITY. Post it on your social media that you're quitting, count the days, that'll keep you going. Knowing that people are watching and hopefully cheering you on. Find a sobriety buddy if you can. It's really hard to do it alone..
ReplyThis is good advice. I dont have any social media but my friend is trying to quit too right now. Thanks for commenting. Congrats on the quitting btw
ReplyId suggest a taper method slowing a little at a time. That's how most drugs work long-term to stop. I've used weed but not everyday before. Or cold turkey method if you've got strength. I quit cigarettes that way. rough but I Haven't went back.
