So I'm getting a new phone (samsung) tomorrow and I'm trading in my old one (also samsung, idk if it matters) so I can't transfer my photos by myself. It has to be done by an employee at the phone place. This is my first time getting a new phone so I dont know how it will go. My question is, would the employee be able to see my photos? Would anyone else be able to see them? I'm a lesbian and I have pictures of me and my girlfriend in there (and tbh porn too). I'm not rlly out to anyone (but like 3 ppl) and especially not my parents, who will be there with me during the whole transferring situation. I reallllyyyyy don't want to have to explain to them why there are pics of me kissing girls on my phone. I will literally have an enormous mental breakdown and kill myself If they find out because of this. They are extremely homophobic and would hate me. I'd also obviously be extremely embarrassed if they (or anyone) found out about the wlw porn I have. I'm freaking tf out rn. What do I do? I don't want to lose all my photos but I can't let anyone, especially my parents, see them. It would absolutely ruin my life. I'm SO scared

Just tell them to transfer the "folder" which contained your pictures. You can make a folder and place all your stuff in there and make another mini folder which contains your you know what. If they just transfer the folder, they won't see it and they won't bother knowing what's the names and titles of your files.
ReplyCan't you copy them to a micro SD card then delete them on the phone?
ReplySeconds this...I have a Samsung S20 and recently got a new memory card as my phone was full. Just copied files from my phone over...some take longer than others but should be doable through settings unless the newer Samsung phones have added measures
