No one in our street talks to eachother much, which makes me sad. It's not a very safe suburb to be honest. Lots of crime , drug deals etc so it's understandable.

Across the road in his front yard was a sully fellah built like a barn door early 20s. He hopped up and down and did a big wave with the biggest grin on his face.
I waved and smiled back. "Yep. It's a nice day for it. Have a good afternoon." I called back awkwardly and kept walking...

Could be anything lol. Just go with the flow, there's way too less information to figure out what his intentions might be. And even if he made it pretty darn obvious, human feelings are complex.
Also, I hope you have been safe given the context of your locality :/ much love to your dog and I hope this gets spicy lol
ReplyHe's just noticing you. Maybe he's interested, maybe he's just social. Not much to go off of. However, if you see him again and you get a good vibe, walk over and day hi. Might not hurt having somebody watching out for you on the streets. Spread kindness. And hopefully you move out of that neighborhood one day. Much love to you!
ReplyIf it's not a very safe suburb, that means people on sex offender registry or with criminal records probably live in this suburb.
Do some investigating to make sure he's not a sex offender or has a criminal record.
Best of luck.
Courtesy notice: the following includes a reference to a book that contains writings over 2000 years old which are mostly parables about human nature, both vile human nature as well as moral human nature, parables that are meant to teach us to learn and grow, including the teachings of Christ Jesus. No religion required, and better yet: no public displays of devotion required, although the former and latter are admirable if practiced freely out of one's own free will and without the threat of being beheaded. Some bullies will label this "trolling", so "change the channel" now if of no interest to you.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Mark 12:28-31
And Christ Jesus said the 2 greatest commandments are:
Love God first and foremost.
Love your fellow-being as you love yourself.
From following or not following these, all good or evil cascades, respectively.
