I'm so sorry if you're sad or if your struggling with something. Focus on yourself for a bit and remember these five things:
1. That a different day brings difference into your life. (and that it's a good thing)
2.There is always a calm after the storm occurs.
3.Unhappiness, sadness or regret does not have to stay with you. You have the option to leave it behind.
4. You always have the ability to choose how you respond to the events in your life even when it feels like you are ruled by your emotions...
5. You are always in control. Nobody else can force you to feel anything.

Thanks although that’s not true. We are not always in control. There are many things beyond our control.
We can accept the things that are beyond our control and that can give us more peace.
Sometimes, though, we cannot accept things as they are. They gnaw away at us and make us restless and angry. This is an indication of the things we feel strongly about. For better or for worse.
ReplyThings themselves are beyond our control but how we respond and what we feel is our responsibility and is within our control. The key is to learn how to control. It is possible for everyone. Sometimes our emotions make us feel like we are out of it and situations feel beyond us but you can choose how you respond to those situations in your life. It is what I have learnt as someone who was once suicidal. It's taken me a long time to get to where I am now.
ReplyI find myself pulling thoughts from out of my head sometimes just to stay active, sometimes it drives me crazy and sometimes I come to the conclusion that a moment of silence is much needed. This is amazing advice though and I'm thankful. One thing I realized on social media reading tweets and stuff, comments in general is that people are being criticized all the time and I'm out here caring for one minuscule thing. I can get through this, we'll get through this together. Thank you.
