I live in a country where loving someone of the same gender is illegal and frown upon. I loved someone so deeply, and every day ever since I have met him I am dying inside. I cant express my love for him. I cant show him to the world. I want to be free, to express my feelings.
every day I went to my local church praying, asking God why he made me the way I am. why he made me to like people of my same gender. Is it a cruel cosmic joke to put me here, in place where my kind of love is forbidden just so I could be some kind of a cosmic joke? life is cruel.

What am I supposed to do?
Hello all! From my previous post, you might know about the discrepancies that I have with my bf. So, I talked to him as one of you suggested and it was fine....
If it's forbidden, that's other people's rules. It's not forbidden under your "rules". Why should their rules trump yours. You can't please all of the people (wider society) all of the time and you shouldn't even try.
ReplyI dont have advice but I'm transgender and gay and I feel the same way
ReplyMan I cannot even begin to imagine how that must be, and I have people who are very close to me who are gay. It is very different here obviously since they are allowed to express their love openly. However, there was a time when it was forbidden here too actually. Hopefully citizens of your country start to organize and appeal for change. In the meantime, stay safe.
Courtesy notice: the following includes a reference to a book that contains writings over 2000 years old which are mostly parables about human nature, both vile human nature as well as moral human nature, parables that are meant to teach us to learn and grow, including the teachings of Christ Jesus. No religion required, and better yet: no public displays of devotion required, although the former and latter are admirable if practiced freely out of one's own free will and without the threat of being beheaded. Some bullies will label this "trolling", so "change the channel" now if of no interest to you.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Mark 12:28-31
And Christ Jesus said the 2 greatest commandments are:
Love God first and foremost.
Love your fellow-being as you love yourself.
From following or not following these, all good or evil cascades, respectively.
