I don’t want to write about you anymore.
The pages drown with words as my heart
Spills messily onto the page
And as my tears blot the ink that writes to you
In an act of rage, the page tears
The canyon created on the paper flows deeply
and strong are the walls that line it,
As the page behind Shines through
The neat lines and sentences were abruptly and ruthlessly
Mutilated.
As if the tightrope that connected us was severed,
And we plummet to the bottom of the pit in my heart.
I don't want to write about you anymore.
The words oppose us
As they are a force that is eternal
And they laugh at mortality, when we cry.
