Every night before I go to sleep I think about my father who has beaten me when I was a child. I live with this pain all my life. It hurts a lot. I cry everyday. I used to smile and hide my pain, now I cry a lot, my partner told me to go to the therapy, I should definitely go because it helps. I’m also afraid of trying new things.

what i will say this, you def. need to heal from the pain but also forgive him. God can heal you from your pains, if he has done it for me, he can do it for you, im not here to preach religion but God loves you so much, he wants a relationship with you! ask him to come into your heart and experience his love :))

If you haven't tried therapy I would definitely give it a go. It really does help to talk to someone especially someone besides your SO. I pray nothing but the best for your future.
ReplyI'm sorry you went through that as a child. I recommend finding a therapist that specializes in family domestic violence, ptsd, trauma, etc. I would also look into other forms of therapy that you can do on your own to help process your feelings and what happened to you, like drawing or taking a pottery class or even horse therapy.
