I belong to a conservative family where despite being 18 yrs old, I don't have the freedom to go out at my will. And this makes me feel that I don't fit into the friend circle or just any place at all. I have to turn down meetup plans every time and tbh I don't like it anymore. Why me? No one bothers to ask. I am so tired and fed up of all these things.

ReplyGet yourself to a point where you can seperate yourself from family. Financially would be best as it gives you some power and independence. If not, volunteering. Just meeting new ppl is good, especially if you do back away from existing friendship groups. But ultimately financial freedom, the rest won't get you out and so won't make you happy... and you deserve to help create your happiness.
ReplyAt what point are you going to declare to your parents that you are in fact an adult just like them? You need to be assertive. Are you still gong to be infantalised when you are twenty-eight? Start now as you mean to go on. Your parents won't be around forever.
