I don't get it?

SO I got a binder in secret but recently everytime I wear it, I get scared someone will discover I'm wearing it. Then I start feeling slightly sick and breathing hard- except because a binder constricts your breathing, I have to take it off so I'm not gasping for air. Then I just barely wear it because I'm scared I won't be able to breathe properly or it'll ruin my back even more than usual. It's almost like I'm trying to find excuses not to wear it at this point- but I don't understand why I'm so scared of it. I feel the rush of euphoria when I wear it but then after that I feel scared and take it off and then I miss the rush of euphoria and I fall into a state of frustration at not being flat anymore. What is wrong with me? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't completely understand how you feel but I'm a girl who hate my body and tries to compress everything I can, I wear sports bras 2 sizes to small and it compresses. I would say try something small first and then move up to your binder if that helps at all.

You'll still have a female skeleton that EVERYONE can see as they have eyes and a brain.

Firstly, some people are blind or have poor vision, thank you very much. Secondly, pray tell what individual examines a person's skeleton before referring to them? Ah the "female skeleton": the number 1 depictor not of sex or gender, but of who's desperate to be a transphobic prick.

No problem! Best of luck. Also don’t be afraid to try different types of binders, some work better for some people than others

maybe it's shame. shame; to be different, altering your body to match how it feels, or the idea that your heart doesn't match your body, but everyone elses does.

it could be you feel vulnerable, expressing an inner part of you- scared that people will see they way you really feel and don't accept it.

it could also just be the tightness of the binder, the feel of being compressed.
