I wish a guy would like me.
I'm tired of being alone.
I spend my days primping and pining for a guy that has never come.
In anticipation of something great, I've put my life on hold.
I can't help it.
I've tried not to care if he's looking and not to check my phone.
What else is there to live for without a guy.
Someone to confide in, someone who will ask me why?
Someone to need me, to want me, to make me feel secure.

Someone will come. God is always watching and he puts people in our lives when we are ready.
ReplyI feel this. We all need a certain level of companionship and care. We all get lonely whether we admit it or not. Its not everything however. We can make ourselves happy until the right person comes along. Live your life until that time comes.
ReplyTime is something we cannot go into the local Walmart and purchase. Romantic love is a beautiful thing, can usually be conditional, and is extremely fragile. Typically, when we spend our time doing something productive we love, there is a good chance we'll meet people with whom we share things in common, and spark the potential for romantic love. Best of luck.
Courtesy notice: the following includes a reference to a book that contains writings over 2000 years old which are mostly parables about human nature, both vile human nature as well as moral human nature, parables that are meant to teach us to learn and grow, including the teachings of Christ Jesus. No religion required, and better yet: no public displays of devotion required, although the former and latter are admirable if practiced freely out of one's own free will and without the threat of being beheaded. Some bullies will label this "trolling", so "change the channel" now if of no interest to you.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Mark 12:28-31
And Christ Jesus said the 2 greatest commandments are:
Love God first and foremost.
Love your fellow-being as you love yourself.
From following or not following these, all good or evil cascades, respectively.
Love...that powerful, invisible force that cannot be denied; even atheists live and die by it.
