So all the time I'm feeling pressured to be something I'm not. My parents are Christians and Pastors so they expect a lot from me. I got my old phone to have social media and do the things I couldn't do in the other one because they checked it often. Recently my dad found that phone and now I can't do anything about it. I'm really scared of my parents. I don't feel happy. I suffer from depression and now its worst. I cry almost every night. I sometimes wish I wasn't. I almost wanted to kms because I was scared of my parents....They force me to be a Christian, when they also say its a process..I wish I wasn't alive, I just wish I was happy with no worries, that's all I want...

What is wrong with being a Christian? If you have God and Jesus in your life you will feel much better because you will know that they are both with you no matter what.
ReplyIt isn't about not liking to be Christian. It's about the fact that they are being held on a standard. It is clearly putting a lot of stress on them. Worrying about disappointing their family. Thinking that they are alone, will never be accepted or good enough. Even if they were to pretend it doesn't make anything better. It wouldn't help. If they were to cut off their family when they're older imagine how lonely and guilty you would feel. You would feel so guilty that even if u were to accept the stress and heart ache they give u, you would be sacrificing you're own mental health, all to please someone else. Thats not right. Everyone SHOULD have a choice to believe and not to believe. It's sickening to see parents who don't give u and option.
ReplyNo-one, even parents, can force you believe something that you don't. You have your OWN brain, separate from other people. When you are an adult, believe what you want to believe. Until then, just pretend.
