The me who had no worries except not getting tagged while playing in the front yard... I miss the old me...

ReplyThe old you still exists. Yes we change and that's part of the process, but it's these hard times in between that remind us of our core, of that self loving, free spirited kid inside all of us. Who doesn't disappear yet who we need to nourish from time to time. You are still you, experiences make us realize new things, and yes it gets harder as we grow up and learn people aren't always as great as we thought they were but that's why we go back to our roots. Remember you are you. At the end of the day YOU have to live with yourself. So wouldn't you rather create that positive environment within yourself where YOU are happy with YOU. So whatever people think won't matter, where if people hurt you it doesn't peak into those vulnerable sides of you. I'm not saying don't feel, because we all feel , it's human and it's okay not to be okay sometimes but train yourself to bounce back from it and retain a part of that free spirited child in you. Life is much easier that way. Just a little of my perspective , hope it helps :)
