Never ever assume the people who mistreated, disrespected or insulted you are narcissists. Most likely they heard rumors, lies and smear campaigns about you for them to act that way. Most likely they were also "friends" with a narcissist and they were convinced to do something or go somewhere where you are. They always do a scare campaign on their victims, each narcissist plays a role and use other people to achieve their objective. Assume always that, if they're not flying monkeys, most likely they were deceived.
