WARN #4344 Halloween Edition

I decided to make my second of my twice yearly jaunts to the weird side of You Tube.

My findings:

Most of the deep web stuff is probably largely embellished if not out and out fabrications.

These ARGs are probably all devised by some think tank to keep people lost, stuck and spinning their wheels so they don’t try to achieve anything too substantial in life. China did a similar thing with the opium trade way back when...

The more things change...

Honestly I like Top 5 Unknowns. Bite size morsels of localized weirdity that doesn't leave me with a sense of existential dread.

That’s why I like numbers stations videos too. Strange but without that feeling of everyone and everything being toxic and corrupt.

Although I must say those Translategate videos are as intriguing as they are very, very peculiar.

If you don’t know what that is there is no way I can describe it here and do it justice but the aforementioned Top 5 has an entry for it.

The sky trumpet videos are also interesting as well. One of my favorites was from early July 2014 where sky trumpets were heard in the UK and NY close to the same time with an eerie sulfurous yellow sky.

I remember that day because while I didn’t hear any odd sounds I did photograph an ominous yellow sunset and later that night I was fortunate enough to photograph a lightning bolt.

At a later date I saw the You Tube video and when I saw the date stamp I was amazed at how identical the yellow sky looked in Europe in conjunction with what I saw.
