Thousands of years ago there was a ram named Susej and a ewe named Yram.
The ewe was actually younger than the ram, but everyone who heard this story
once thought that she was his mother.
She lived a life that all of the lambs desired most, never experiencing stress to any great degree.
The greatest stress that she ever had was her desire for her ram.
The desire grew and grew and one day she heard a crack pulsating in the distance.
She had never experienced hell nor had she every witnessed it.
A ram appeared near the edge of the forest, a ram that had experienced abuse which surpassed every imaginable suffering that she could possibly conjure.
Was this her ram? She came closer and closer. Was this hers? He was indeed.
All at once his suffering disappeared and the desire she had turned into gratification.
They left the paddock to a large garden of flowers, vines, streams, shady nooks, cool breezes, and silent bliss. No predators of nature could harm them, no fears, no anxiety, no stress.
Susej grew stronger with Yram, they both viewed each other as equal.
Yram was just as kind gentle and caring as Susej they needed each other the same.
The aggregation of life's bounty compounded on both Yram and Susej, much stronger than upon the rest, which made them appear superior to all.
Neither had ever abused another, the most common characteristic of each.
They never returned to the paddock, but to this very day as the story was told from sheep to sheep, the pattern was revealed, as a lamb they want to live as Yram but near death they want to live the life of Susej. A never ending cycle that will repeat in perpetuity.
The reason is lost in time, some think it has to do with his love for Yram and her saving his life.
He was thankful to god and to Yram and it never faded. She loved him the same.
The reason compounds over time and becomes more obvious near death.
