Man wtf after I was done doing by super cool looking sculpting and it was the best sculpture I ever made I looked up how to store it while it was drying and the search said "put it in a dark and dry place" so I put it in my closet covered up with a bone dry rag. Guess what!! the advice was for *oven baked clay* not air dry. so because it was so dry my piece got super cracked and broke, even after I touched it up (added more clay, glued on broke pieces)!!! Now I have it under a wet rag while its drying but I fear that the damage is already done :( I was so excited for this but I misread the freaking website and I guess that messed it up real bad. I'm not backing down that easy tho but its sad to see it all messed up. even if it ends up looking like crap its still my art and i will find a way to make it good/
it was a mask of my bald eagle oc called Xander wildborn if ur curious
