This is Your Story
By Novni Community Member
Everyone has their own unique story in life. Things may have happened while you were small and unable to fend for yourself. Those things that happened may have impacted your life greatly, and it’s possible they still do today.
All that being said, you have been able to write your story up to this point. It’s your story, nobody else's. If you are able to feel and act for yourself, then guess what?
No one can imprison your mind and no one can decide for you. Because at the end of the day...
You have the sole control over your life at this moment and in the future too.
You have your free will, your thoughts, and your feelings.
You get to decide for yourself.
You have the ability to change how the rest of your story unfolds.
You get the chance to begin a new chapter.
You get the chance to add plot twists and write chapters filled with endless possibilities that give you renewed motivation.
Whether you begin that new chapter now, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, or even choose not to start such a chapter, it is entirely up to you. A story with only one author. This is the story of your life.
Live your life the way you want to. Try not to leave regrets behind. Try not to put something on hold with the excuse that you have time for it later. The next minute may never come. The next hour may never come. The next day may never come.
What would you do if you only had one day to live? I'm only 18, but if I was given one day to live I would desperately find methods to survive that one day.
I still have too much I want to achieve in life. I think you have things you want to do as well, you might just be just waiting for that final push to do it.
Here is your final push. Do it for yourself. Not for your mom. Not for your dad. Not for your brother, sister, friend, aunt, uncle, grandma, teacher, therapist, or anyone else. It’s your story and at the end you can smile genuinely, free of regrets, while leaving the stage.
