I really love this girl and she knows this but due to something I did she has turned to drugs, and around about 2 packs of cigarettes a day she won’t talk to me but then randomly pops up to me saying she thinks we can be together but only when she’s sorted things out so I waited because I think she’s the love of my life and I can’t think about anyone but her, but yet I then see that she’s practically destroying herself and whenever I message her she blanks me so I don’t know whether I should give up on this girl or not, cause I honestly can’t cope with seeing her do this to herself yet all her other friends encourage it and I just feel like I’ve lost her so should I actually give up on her?

Close friends and love= No.

Am I really just a friend? We met while I was married he is the other guy. Am no longer married. He says he just wants to be friends. We text almost every day....
Give up if she is not worth it. Let go instead of stagnating at one place. Break the cycle until something out of routine emerges
ReplyIf you think she's worth waiting for then continue to be there for her. You can help and encourage others without it stopping your life from happening. You say she has turned to the drugs and nicotine due to something you did? Just don't forget to be there for her, but at the same time don't let her pull you into her mess.
ReplyWhy do you think she has gone downhill? Maybe something bad happened and she’s trying to cope? You could try to talk to her and find out
ReplyIf she has turned to drugs due to something you did, you must have done something that caused great harm. If you caused great harm, you should step away so that she can heal. If you did nothing to cause great harm, she did not turn to drugs due to something you did. If you did nothing to cause great harm, she turned to drugs because of her.
