I’ve always loved art and I know that sometimes, I am pretty good. But I grew up with a brother that was not good, but amazing. So I’ve Grown up in a shadow of the one thing I truly love doing. It has made it realy hard for me to put my art out there for people to see so I mostly just create for myself.
I’ve stared a new medium and it’s something that I am realy loving and I would love to sell my pieces.
But how do you move past that feeling that you’re not good enough? That you don’t have what it takes and the knowledge that there will always be someone out there better than you?
How do you break through that fear of exposing yourself?

I'm Annoyed With How I Work
Ok so I make art and go to high school. School is always demanding my attention and I honestly just don't really want to work on schoolwork. I know that I shoul...
Me and my sister went through the same thing, no matter how hard I tried she would always outdo me, I switched my instrument to piano because I could't stand living in her shadow. But that was a mistake, you should always continue doing the thing you love. There will always be someone a little better than you in different things. I know I will never be as good or famous as Mozart or Beethoven, but knowing that some people will appreciate my music, even pay to listen to it makes me smile. Maybe you can do things in art that your brother can't do, things that other people will appreciate. All art is unique and creative. You should try selling your pieces, you'll never know unless you try. Good Luck, i'm rooting for you!
