I pondered about the mistakes I’ve made growing up and it stresses me out. A lot of them are trivial simple things but others still affect me to this day. In groups of people the mistakes you make are usually a subject of enjoyment for them, is that fair? I don’t think it is. We are only human and we shouldn’t be constantly reminded of what we do wrong. I’m 16 going 17 years old, about to sit higher exams and even at this age I’m still ridiculed and slagged about things that happened 5 years ago. Are people really built just to be horrible to one another? Can’t people treat you on how you act on a daily basis not things that happened years or even months ago? We grow as people everyday and it angers me that people can’t see the person you are becoming because they only see you as who you were in the past. In my mind i don’t know what to do about my mistakes, I try to live with them but people make that quite impossible and it’s just not fair. I wish people were more connected to emotions and could see how other people feel to realise that things need to be left in the last

some mistakes do define us to others, which is not relevant to how we define ourselves. learn from and rise above mistakes and create the future you want to have.
ReplyWe all make mistakes!
How would you like someone getting into your life and putting you down for all that you have done...or what they perceive you to have done?
I am okay with my mistakes!
How about you?
ReplyI agree with the first response. People will see you as you've shown yourself to be which is, of course, based on history. If you don't want to allow the past to define you, learn from it and do things differently. When you are different, you will be seen as different -at least to those who matter.
