I'm Angry and Terrified

My pitbull (new dog) just bit my 14-year-old, one-eyed chihuahua's good eye. I'm fucking seething right now. I can't believe she'd do such a thing. The only way this would be warranted would be the fact he was eating her food but that was scattered all over the floor anyway so that's a null and void point.

I get that she's a dog. It's not her fault. I should've trained her better and kept her in puppy school, I should've fixed her and not let her eat the wildlife from my backyard. But my fourteen-year-old dog, who already has a bad sense of smell, could be proven immobile and blind from the event.

He's being raced to the vet right now. Any damage he took I wish I could take instead of him. I just want him to be okay. Please. God, I'm so scared. Ffs I'm crying... Why him, why now. This is just horrible.
