My mom and dad argue almost every night, and for me it’s scary. My dad has been away for a long time and was working abroad. I almost didnt know him. when mom and dad were arguing one day i don’t know why but i tryed to stop them. And dad yelled at me really loud. My legs gave out and i fell on my knees. I started shaking really bad, i was so out of breath that i sought i would stop breathing and i started crying. Mom came over to calm me down. For five minutes straight i didnt stop shaking and crying i was pulling my hair and after while i calmed down but after five minutes instarted throwing up and feeling very sick. I was feeling out of breath again. I cried all night an only fell asleep in the morning. Can u tell me why it happend and why i had shuch a bad reaction?

When you’re a kid (which I think you are, forgive me if I misjudge), your parents create your reality.
Lots of kids don’t even know that the dysfunction in their home is dysfunctional. They think it’s normal and grow up to repeat the same bad patterns in their own adult lives.
I’m sorry your situation is like it is, but take heart!
The fact that your own physical body responds so negatively to it may very well mean that you know it’s WRONG to have to live that way... which may very well mean that when YOU’RE the grownup, you WON’T repeat the bad pattern.
(And, if your folks ever take you to the doctor, and you feel like you could get away with having a private conversation with the doctor, it might be a good idea to ask her/him about the physical reactions.)
