I woke up in a beautiful valley with butterflies kissing my cheeks and birds chirping in a harmonious song. The grass was emerald green and it looked like one of those stereotypical spring days you only see in the movies.
Weather was perfect, the sky was clear and blue as ever. I get up to walk around; to explore this vast land, soaking in its beauty. A flowing white gown drapes over my body, my hair is curled; it resembles spun gold.
There's a babbling brook; I dip my hands into the cool water and drink it up.
Something catches my eye; a human figure.
There's another person here? I get up to investigate.
"Hey there!" I call out. I still can't make out who the figure is but as I venture closer I can tell it's a woman, she's playing with the birds by some trees. I don't think she heard me.
"Hey!" I call once more across the valley. She stops and turns to me.
She too wears a white gown and her hair is platinum, nearly white as the very dress she wears. Her skin is flawless, radiant. She waves at me shyly, her hands are dainty as a Disney princess.
I trace her figure with my eyes, her curves are steep and I can't stop staring. I blush. She is perfect in every way, she is absolutely gorgeous.
I walk to her, feeling a warm sensation of joy coming over me.
She flutters her sapphire eyes in my direction as she extends her hand toward me. In awe, I advance closer, taking her hand.
"Come with me," she says
"What's your name?" I ask, but she ignores the question
"Come," she beckons. "I must have you," I suddenly feel uneasy as she hastily pulls me through the forest.
"Where are we going?" I ask, realizing the valley I woke up in seems to be getting farther away the longer I spend with this woman.
She doesn't answer, but she's got my hand. I let go.
She quickly grabs my wrist, I feel fire in her palms.
My skin is hot. I try to pull away but her grip only becomes tighter, nails digging into my skin.
"You're mine!" she declares.
The harder I struggle the harder she holds my wrist. I finally get her off. A bloody print remains.
She begins to sob, but her face; her face is no longer the radiant beauty as before.
Her eyes are sunken, her cheekbones more profound, hair is matted and dull. Her eyes are black, blood seeps from her eyes trickling down her face staining her once white gown. As I turn to flee I realize my paradise is engulfed in flames with a black sky.
The trees are dead, there are no butterflies, no water; no peace.
The rest of the valley begins to crumble underneath my feet, the only land that remains is with her. She grabs my arms and forces me into her embrace.
As before, I feel fire in her touch and she will not let go. I close my eyes.
Suddenly something jerks me downward.
I feel a multitude of hands grabbing, clawing at my skin. Picking, ripping the clothes from my body as I descend into what felt like the depths of an oven like abyss.
I open my eyes only to look into those of the woman who dragged me here. I see misery. I see suffering, pain, anger; all in the void of her dark stare.
