I woke up a little while ago. It takes me a little long because my first thought when I wake is her. I always try to go back to sleep and avoid it but we can't sleep forever. I texted her i missed her yesterday. I regret it because I know for a fact she doesn't want anything to do with me. She's moving on with someone new and it hurts because it was kinda fast but honestly if it is love, love has no timing. I don't understand why its taking me so long to be okay with this situation.. i really need to move on.

Take some time to yourself find something that makes you happy little by little you will move on
ReplyIt is okay to heal. But it is important to heal out of the bed doing great things with good people! Missing someone is a blessing not a curse. Missing does not mean you want them back. It means you invested to this person and you shared a lot, and you meant it. So now it is okay to remember it but do not forget life is bringing you more surprises.
ReplyIt takes time to heal. Have faith in yourself, and do things that make you happy. <3
ReplyI have been in your shoes. I know what you are going through. When I read this my first thought was "holy shit, I remember feeling every single thing that this person wrote."
It will get better on its own. You can facilitate the process by starting with a simple exercise. Trust me on this. I promise you I have been where you are. It's a feeling you never forget.
Every morning when you wake up and your first thought is her, sit up straight and set a timer on your phone for 5 minutes. Start the timer and just repeat in your head over and over again "I love myself. I love myself. I love myself. I love myself." Focus this thought loop in your mind when you wake up and before you go to sleep. You can redirect your thoughts. You have power over your feelings. It's hard, but it's possible.
Eventually you will just forget about her. She'll pop up in your head and it won't hurt that bad. Then you'll carry on with whatever you were doing. You will be ok. I promise.
