Today at school I was walking to the halls, and I saw this girl walking past me with her face a little red and crying. She was walking quickly and I knew where she was going. She was going to a room where people with anxiety can just relax and take their time to breathe and get themselves together. I've been there before. I just wish I could talk to her or help her, but I don't even know her name

That's no issue if you do not know her name. Go ahead. Make an introduction, be kind and that's how you would start.
ReplyAgreed ^ her being a stranger is no excuse, because it is in fact all the more reason! :D make a new friend and show support/ give help ^=^
ReplyYea. You got it.
ReplySometimes a simple "Are you okay?" will do.
ReplyI have found that the best way to help someone in a small, non intrusive or anxiety inducing way is to compliment them or just say something nice. Almost everyday at school all day long during passing times, class, and lunch. I am constantly saying hi to people, smiling and waving at people saying things in passing like "how's it going?" or "You look really good!" "That shirt is really cool!" It makes me feel good for spreading love and (I hope at least) that it makes the other person have a good/better day ect. its become a habit to just be kind to people. I don't have to do it but It feels nice to make others feel good, even when I don't ,so we can make each other feel better. I recommend you try something like that just smile first, the say hi, then give a compliment don't think about what the other person will do just do it to be nice and don't worry about the consequences. hope this gelps know that I'm sending you love and support.
