-IB student with a 4.6 GPA
-Studied abroad in Barcelona for a semester
-Lives with both parents (married) and an older and younger sister
-Lives in a rich and safe neighborhood
-Plenty of college options
-does not drink or smoke
-Good group of friends
Life is funny. Look at Girl X’s profile. She has it all. That profile is what can be concluded about her from friends at school, family, and social media. However lets dive into a little more about her.
Girl X
-epileptic
-takes large dose of keppra everynight
-Older sister goes to GA tech, where she got an intership at Tesla
-Little sister is a prospect from D1 rowing scholarships as a sophomore.
-Can not drive
-has had sucicidal thoughts
-lies to her parents
Girl X does not have it all together, although she appears to. However this is not unusual for teens these days.
Girl X is constantly feeling like the disappointment child. With a genius for an older sister, and a model athlete and rockstar little sister, the only thing girl X contributes to the family is medical problems.
Girl X does have friend, and has had boyfriends. However, this is the only part of her life that she feels is normal. But then, there are her parents. She feels judged by them, and she can not tell them that there is drinking or smoking at parties, or even that ALL of her friends drink and smoke. She does not partake but does not mind being around people who smoke or drink, but should she tell her parents, she knows her social life will be cut off. She is invited over to her friend’s houses during the week, but tells her parents that she is going to go study because her parents would not let her go over to friend’s house during the week, even though all homework is done.
Not being able to drive due to epilepsy has stripped her of the freedom she had. Now as an 18 year old senior she is being driven around by her mother, grandmother, and sophomore sister.
Girl X feels suffocated by her parents and it was these lies that allowed her to breathe so she could get out the house.
Girl X’s father told her one night: “I need you to stop lying to me and your mother.”
Girl X does not know what her father knows. She feels terrible for lying but she can not breathe around her family and will go crazy by not getting to get out, either to a friends house or party.
It is those places where she is not a disappointment, an eplileptic child, or a student who needs to try harder, she can just be girl X.
Girl X does not like lying to her parents, they allowed for her to grow up with a silver spoon in her mouth. They paid for all of her medical treatment.
If you could give advice to Girl X what would you tell her?

You were never a man. I thought and believed, I wanted to believe for so long that you were. But you proved me wrong. You are a devious wolf in sheep’s skin....

In Need of Advice
It's been too long now to still be so messed up over this...I still love her, and it's been dragging me down like an anchor into the deep abyss... I want to s...
Maybe Girl X should try asking to go to therapy. That way she could get the best advice from a counselor and have someone to talk to as well.
I hope her pain eases soon.

ReplyGirl x should know that friends can drag her down so she needs to have enough will power to tell them no. I also feel like it's hard to have a social life where you're not going to be exposed to alcohol and drugs. So she should really pick and choose her friends wisely. No one is smarter or better than her. She's irreplaceable. Set good goals for herself for the future and always be the best version of girl x she can be.
