Clairvoyance

Never really wading

amongst

anything meaningful,

every step more devoid 

of worth than the last.

A vacuous vessel come 

to destroy everything in your

wake.

This is a refusal 

to drown under utter deceit.

You are disease, but darling,

hypochondria infests

my being.

Bacteria swarms your existence,

however, germaphobia

haunts this soul.

Cleansing is the only answer,

this must be wiped spotless.

Lurching onward, backwards cannot

be met with tolerance

any longer.

A treacherous rock bottom,

lined in perilous dysfunction,

points only a singular direction...

upward.

Here I give life to new

strength.

Finding treasure hidden 

from myself, only 

to be unearthed ages later,

invigoratingly refreshing health. 

Enveloping my universe,

finally able to 

BREATHE.
