I have very extreme social anxiety, and then just generalized anxiety. I haven’t found any coping mechanisms yet and this has been going on for several years. Whenever I’m at school or in a public place where I do not feel comfortable, I text my mom and tell her to come and get me. She use to when I was in middle school but now that I’m in high school, she doesn’t come and get me she just tells me to push through. I’m tired of that. When I wanna go home, I wanna Go home. It makes my anxiety worse when I have to be stuck in such a scary place

I get scared too
You know that one person who sits in the back middle of the bus? That one person you're too intimidated by to talk to? The one who seems to have no emotion?...
Try to listen to music when your anxiety gets bad. Look around sometimes, you will see that there are other people like you who might be having the same problem. If you feel that they are the same, it will be easier to approach them & to talk to them. Once you have someone to talk to, the anxiety wont feel as bad. I hope that helps. This is what I usually do.
