So I once was engaged to a man whos mother didn't like me. Long story short he left me. But before we broke up his mother started a fight with me and she told me I was an idiot. Well now I'm in college and going to the same one his mother is going to. I have a 3.7 GPA and I can join Phi Theta which is the same group his mother is in. Would it be too petty to join? I've always wanted to on my own and I have the GPA to join, it would also look good on my transcripts for when I transfer since I currently go to a 2 year college and I'm working to get a masters.

ReplyDo it. For many reasons. Sometimes Mom in laws are jealous of the other woman in their sons life forcing them to choose. And run their lives. Be glad you got out. Find a healthier family dynamic. That welcomes anyone that loves their child & their child loves.
ReplyGo for it! Really, it's none of her business what you do anymore. It wasn't her business in the first place. Who you marry is your problem, your solution, and so is which group you go to in college.
ReplySIS, JOINNNN! thats not petty, she is out of your life and you are doing it for yourself! Keep it up!
