i don't know
hi. i was just feeling really down and sad, and i did not really have anybody to talk to, so I just searched up online and found this website. My life has been...
I feel you, I tend to overthink things as well and it's hard for me to not care what other people think about me or say to me. But you can work on it. For example in high school I cared about so many people's opinion, I even hated it when complete strangers gave me ugly looks or seemed to judge me. Now I hardly give a damn about it, in fact, now I even manage to not care what my classmates think about me. Mostly because I realized no one really cares that much and also because they're not the most important people in my life. If you can convince yourself that no one really cares what you say or do (meaning you might feel extremely awkward for some reason but most people don't see that), you're already one step ahead.
ReplySounds like me
ReplyI have overthinking issues too. I think I have more white hair than my parents, and I am a teenager. They say my white hair comes from overthinking, but I don't know.
White hair or not, overthinking is a problem for me. The only good thing about it is that it helps me with creativity. Otherwise, it's a bit of a nightmare.
I also have social anxiety, so anything said about me makes me stressed out, or entering a room full of people I don't know.
I keep a journal to write down thoughts in. Doing excerise may keep your mind off of overthinking for a while as well. But it depends on the individual.
What you are going through is normal.
