Hey there,
Just be yourself. It’s always exciting, nerve-wracking, etc when dating, that’s the fun of it! You talk for 5-6 hours a day and your concerned you won’t have anything to talk about, just take a breath, obviously there is a connection already.
Don’t put so much pressure on the “what if’s”. Trust me, she’s nervous too, and if you both are clammed up then you may very well miss out on an awesome time together. You like her, she likes you, just relax it will all workout just fine.
Stay Positive and remember you don’t have to marry this person! Have fun together!
ReplyWhat do you talk about when you're chatting online? If you have shared interests (movies, shows for example) you could bring them up. The cat question could also work, because if you really love each other then a little bit of awkwardness won't hurt anyone.
I was really stressed when I first met my long-time online friend in person (and later crush), but everything worked out fine. I definitely think that it's possible to form a deep connection without seeing someone IRL, because it has happened to many people, myself included.
Good luck for the first meet up!! I'm rooting for you :)
ReplyNo matter what, a first meet up is always awkward.. The most important thing is working through that initial awkwardness and if you can do that you’ll be okay. Good luck! And I hope to be hearing all about your love story soon.
