Hi, i don't actually celebrating a Valentine due to my parents religion. When i was a kid, i learn that Valentine is rooted in ancient pagan beliefs and in Christendom’s listing of so-called “saints.” Valentine Day is also another excuse for commercial exploitation of an often uninformed public. and they always say, if you love someone, enjoy it everyday not only that Valentine day.
So now i realize, nothing wrong to celebrate if you don't do anything wrong. This makes you normie but i'm wondering how does it feel to get a flowers, chocolates or hearts in that day.
I am just sad, i have a boyfriend, we really feel inlove each and were 5years in relationship, but i never been experience a Valentine with him. Due to something emergency. I have a work, he has sick. I'm just sad that i never been experience it with the one i love. I understand before that he can't afford it and i'm not demand it. I understood always especially i grew that i don't celebrating it.
Feel sad. Feel i can't have it 😔 I wish i could feel it someday.
