So, I’ve been suffering with depression and suicidal thoughts for a while. I’m a female, so I blame it on hormones and my period. But it’s like the thought of dying lingers all the time. I can’t tell anyone because I feel like I’m putting my problems on other peoples shoulders.

I'm so very sorry, sweetheart. I think most people would want you to tell them how you're feeling. Maybe I'm giving too much credit to people, but I hope you can tell someone. You're in my prayers and I pray your suicidalThoughs and thoughts ofDying (trigger words?) go away and that your depression lifts.
ReplyThats also how i feel i get it sucks but when you tell other people these things they can help take it off you witch means its not on them either. but im so sorry your going through this we are here for u
ReplySometimes it is important to get a different, outside perspective which a friend can provide or even few sessions of therapy if it works for you, and I ensure if people here are there for you, imagine your close loved ones who would provide so much more helpful insight which is unique to you and you only, I have also been suffering from thoughts like that, but in the end it comes down to the little hope which is left, which makes me stronger reminding me that I do enjoy life even if for a moment, for a second, or even in the past, or thinking of the future, there is atleast something which riles up positive emotions, and for that in itself, it is so important to realise we are so much more than what we give ourselves the credit for, too hard on ourselves we become. Sending Love from another side of the world !
ReplyIt's okay to talk to people about it and even normal, despite what mainstream media might have you believe.
Moreover, it's necessary. because if you never tell people, they'll never know and will think that once you've done something about it- tried to hurt yourself, or others, it's sudden. Unprovoked.
No one will be able to read your mind.
We're anonymous here so I think to start, hormones are not always to blame. Depression often has roots in the real world through stress. So something is stressing you out to the point of considering self-harm.
