So this is the popular greek mythology we all know about.. I expect most of you already know what's the real story behind Medusa..the monster with snakes on her head..but unfortunately, I grew up with another biased story that she was one of the most dreadful monsters any myths ever had. (I'm from another part of the world). She was ruthless, cruel and horrifying, taking thousands of warriors lives. And no one could slay her and get rid of her dread until Perseus came.
I used to be happy with the story thinking that at the end, goodness wins over the evil..no matter what.
But now after reading the truth behind Medusa myth , I really feel sad about the fact that what I used to think to be a winning over evil, it's already the death of goodness which portrayed as evil to me.
There was no victory of goodness but the death of it followed by death of another innocents..(the babies of medusa)..
May be after death she has become the protector of goodness but in her life, she only faced evil.
And that makes me sad now..
