If you spend sometime in your phone, your parents go crazy over it in an instant, right? What if they have the same habits too but don't tolerate when you mention it?
Meet my mom.
From Tuesday onwards she was glued to her phone, all the time I had to tell her to forget it for 5 minutes and go drink water. If I asked if she was ok 'cause she looked too angry, she snapped.
She isn't sleeping in the same bed as my dad for almost a month! Always going to the couch or my brother's bedroom(he doesn't live with us).
My niece is spending the school break here, then we stayed in my brother's room and my mom stayed in my bedroom. Fine by me.
They left to the Mass, I entered my room to get my towel and seriously, what the hell happened here? It was a mess!
Ok, room tidy up completed! If I left some stuff in the wrong places or out of the place, she'd toss it around the house or throw away.
So, parents think it's right when they're doing it? This has no logic, total BS.
I might not say a word to her now, but I'll leave it here.

I don't hate you, I simply miss you
Do you remember the good old days? Where we used to talk everyday, and we would simply play all day, everyday? Remember when, before I got you to where you are...
True your mom shouldnt have a double standard like that.
And also id be wondering if your mom is talking to another man on that phone of hers. Not sleeping in the same bed as your dad for a month doesnt make it look good in my opinion.
ReplyThanks, I think parenthood should be respect and equality, not an untouchable authority.
And, well my mom been cheated and plays the "good (and misunderstood) wife" role. I found odd that last year, a guy who works at the market been spamming some Hi's on her FB inbox.
She tried to brush it off saying that one day he was weighing the ham and cheese before packing it+handing to her, he suddenly started asking about me as if he wasn't paying attention that she was right in front of him (we are not twins or carbon copy).
