Im scared that im going to lose my boyfriend. Actually, everything between us is going fine but we can't hang out as much as we'd like. I know he has a lot of female friends and i have said to him that im not going to stop him from going out with his friends. He had many girlfriends before me and i don't know why they broke up. I kind of want to know who they are and why they broke up but im scared to ask. Im scared that he is going to cheat on me. I have told him that i have major trust issues from my previous "relationship" and he assured that he is not gonna lie to me and if he ever has bad news for me, then these are not about our relationship and feelings. He has told me that he loves me and i want to believe that but i just have this feeling that he is not serious about me. When i don't know where he is, i just get anxious and jealous. I trust him but i just need to know what he is up to and where he is. Maybe it is too controlling and im not gonna deny it but that is just who i am. He says that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me and i want the same thing. I have never felt this way about anyone. I want to be with him. Maybe im just overthinking and there really isn't anything going on but thats just how i feel. I don't know what to do anymore.

Just to understand, you can't hang out as much as you'd both like, but he hangs out with his friends (who are girls)? There is a tendency for some people (myself at one time in my life), when they are not as secure as they could be, to feel anxious and worried when the other person isn't there. Have you felt that way with other people? If so, perhaps the focus is on you feeling good, boosting your confidence, and just working on you being comfortable with you. Sounds like you might have time while he's hanging out. If your more confident self were to find out he is not being sincere with you (the other possibility, and that you've simply picked up on his inconsistencies), you will be in a better place to move past and into a healthier relationship, that works and in wonderful for you both. Whether that's this one or this is a learning experience, I hope you find exactly that relationship that everybody wants and needs. And when you haven't found (or don't know if you have) "the one", it can really be challenging. Best of luck!
