Long distance

Not being with the one you love is already painful. Not knowing if you will ever see the one you love is much worse. Knowing you will never see them, is much worse.

I've been through a lot of heartbreaks before. I've been dumped, cheated on and betrayed by a friend, given up on at the onset.

But this one is a different. You love, you jive and you deeply care for each other. And then not knowing if you'll ever be together, especially since circumstances and odds have started to stack against both of you since you met.

Knowing you won't see them again is the worst. Perhaps the death of a loved one, or something else. But somehow, the in between hurts just as much, sometimes as hard. And you're both in this long, painful, "what if" situation. You're both trying, but there's a lot on hold. It's very hard.
