me again, i have nothing much to write since nothing much happened today.
i stayed at home doing nothing even if i know i need to get my english papers done.
3 more days till my birthday and i'm not completely in the mood still to celebrate it, though i need to at least pretend to be excited like any other 13 year old.
I don't get it really, why do people get excited to celebrate their birthday, I asked my friends and they'l simply answer "I like celebrating my birthday because i get older and it makes me feel more mature".
like whats so good about ageing? people in their mid 20's probably hate ageing.
I'm a quite childish person, some say i need to mature a bit, but for me i just wanna enjoy my youth. We don't get to be kids for a long time and i know i have to be mature at some point which only makes me want to be a child.
I'm turning 14 on sept. 24 and let me tell you how much i hate it.
I'm planning on buying new books btw but i don't know what book to read, so far all the books i have i already read even my sisters books.
so please recommend books i can read something similar to marrie antoinette or the pearl or island of the blue dolphins.
thats my entry for today.
i'll proly write tomorrow

My Timed Entry: Humanity.
“Similar to the churning, blackness of the deep mysterious sea of unknown, people can never so much as begin to fathom the very edges of my core. For I am one...
I think birthdays are sorta over-glorified too. To be honest, everyone makes a big deal because you're growing up. Why? I hate it too... But it's because they love you. You only turn 14 once, ya know. I wouldn't not doing anything because of your mixed feelings. And, you do sound mature for a 14-year-old. I wouldn't worry about whether or not that level of maturity causes you to miss out. Do whatever you think is right for you. And for doing your English homework, did you feel like you missed out? Like you completely "wasted" a day for not even attempting it? I've been there, too, really. It's okay to take breaks, but prioritizing is key. Make a list of things you want to do today. I'm in the same boat now when it comes to my APUSH homework... Anyway, the fact is, just keep a clear mind of the things you want to do. I wish you a very happy early birthday. I hope that you sort everything out!

ReplyIt’s my daughters birthday the day after that on the 25th she will be 29 though,at your age she read a lot of Darren Shan books. Would of been my mums on the 24th but she died years ago in June. It was my birthday last month and I’m reading the Morganville vampire series depends why you like really. So happy birthday for the 24/th I’d suggest the Darren Shan style books. Or a much cheaper option- a library card and then go somewhere see what you can get to spend your birthday cash on.
