I am having anxiety thoughts about getting my first job at 18 years old soon. My worrying stops when I am touching an animal like my pet rabbit but she is too fat and my parents don't like me touching the rabbit a lot. I want a small animal that I can hold in my hand and I think toads are more slow and less active. I am just afraid if I catch a wild one, it'll die in less than a day and my parents ain't buying more pets.

not sure about frogs. they're not very cuddly lol. I would try catsss
ReplyIf only my parents want to get another cat. Never really lived with a cat before. I'm not going to cuddle a frog lol, I just want to pet it.
ReplyGive your rabbit some space to exercise and feed an appropriate diet fit for rabbits. Wild animals belong in the wild. It's cruel and unnecessary to make them into pets in captivity for your enjoyment.
ReplyI agree but my rabbit is a Dutch rabbit and she probably never been in the wild before because she was purchased in a pet store. If I just release her, she will be killed quickly by either a snake or alligator or a hawk.
ReplyGet an cat. No joke
ReplyMy parents don't want more pets sorry.
ReplyI know this was two years ago but I really want to help with this, if it’s still needed. Frogs are actually pretty cuddly if you get the right breed and have a great attachment to you (this would depend on the frog’s personality because all their personalities are unique). However, you’d have to buy the frog and since most of the time, you can’t find any of them in the wild and also, it’s inhumane to catch a frog in the wild and keep it captive. You might even get poisoned and sick from one or the frog will from you if you’re not careful. I would recommend getting something like a fluffy plush like keychain instead (that is, if you still need this advice). It’s not an animal but it’ll be fluffy enough to act like one with fur. Or maybe since you’re older now, you can buy your own cat, rabbit, dog, etc. as your emotional support animal.
