The bond between human and dog is like none other. You know your dog can't tell you how much they love you but no matter what you always just know they do. My boy, the goodest boy, is an 8 year old Siberian Husky. He is on the "fluffy" side but he is black and white with the most beautiful blue eyes. He is apart of my soul, my old man who loves to get belly rubs and sleep 97% of the day.
He was rescue dog, that I met when I was volunteering at a pet shelter. He was abused by his previous owner and then lived in the wild for sometime. He had been through a lot of trauma and he was very shy of humans. So every week I made it a point to try to help him get over his fear, and I started taking him on field trips, where we would go to the park and place that had a lot of people to help him with his fears. After a month or so he became a totally different dog and I became a different human.
I had so much love in my heart for him I couldn't let him go. So every time I knew there was an adopter coming I would take him on a "field trip." At the time I was living with my parents who had 5 cats and knew there was no way I could take him. I know that this dog was suppose to be my dog, so I saved up as much as I could, moved out, and the following weekend after moving into my new place I adopted him.
No matter how many things have changed in my life, he has always been there. Now, I need to be there for him. I need to continue to give him the best possible life I could for as long as I could so he knows that his mom would do anything for me. I want more adventures, treats, and belly rubs for my boy, because one day as hard as it is to admit this it will be his last, and the goodest boy in the world needs to have lived the goodest life.

Dogs are so cool. They love people more than themselves and actually seem to show more love and compassion than alot of humans do.
