There are certain subjects that I am obsessed about when chatting on internet. I was obsessed about frogs then I can get obsessed about demons and then imaginary friends and then etc. I also keep telling my teacher about the movie we didn't finish if he was going to finish the movie. I also don't like pencil shavings and eraser shavings on my desk and I hate that annoying dot on my blank piece of paper that I can't erase. I don't like my drawers and closet and door slightly open. I have a cat plush with old stains next to its face and it annoys me a lot when I see it. Ask me more stuff if you want.
Do I have it or I need professional to see if I do?

You Hurt Me
First you lied to me about your HSV+ diagnosis, but I knew better. I knew of your status, but convinced myself I didn't care because I was so in love with you....
Counseling graduate student here. Good for you for recognizing signs of OCD, as what you are describing does indeed sound like it. At the very least you have obsessive tendencies. They seem relatively harmless, which is good, but they can easily become more intrusive if not dealt with. Seeing a professional would be a good plan for two reasons. They can more accurately diagnose you, and they can help you manage your symptoms. I am curious though. When you cannot fix something, like the dot on the paper, do you have to do something that makes it feel less annoying? Possibly counting to a certain number or making a specific movement. That would be another sign of OCD. Noticing things and being preoccupied with them is not necessarily OCD. There are other disorders that symptom is common with, like ADD for example. Hope this helps, good luck.
ReplyThe dot on paper, I just turn over paper so I don't see it. Forgot to mention about checking my lock on P.E locker and I panic when I can't find my sunglasses because I am sensitive to light. Also when I brought a lot of Halloween decorations to school, I keep checking to make sure I don't miss one decoration and telling the teacher multiple times to make sure no one steals a decoration or damage it.
Thanks for the very helpful comment!!
