I don't know what to anymore. My father is homophobic, two of my close friends are slightly homophobic in the way, "I love you and support you, but I don't support you sexuality" That hurts. I always hoped that my closest friends would love me and support me unconditionally despite my desire to love a woman. Someone please explain to me how a loving God can say, "Because of who you love, you cannot come to heaven." You really mean to tell me, that a gay person, who did not choose to be gay, has to live his life in solidarity, and just find happiness in God. You mean to tell me that they can never have a relationship with anyone, or find love, unless it is someone they are not actually attracted to. Show me where JESUS says, not Paul or any of the other apostles say, "If you are a homosexual you can't go to heaven. Someone please tell me or explain this to me.

First of all God is love. Just because you are that way doesnt mean he hates you. There's no where that it says it's the unpardonable sin. However its the sex part man with man or woman with woman he finds to be abomination same as humans having sex with animals. I didn't make the rules I just advise you to read the bible and talk to God about it yourself. Maybe even talk with a pastor about it. In reality everybody sins in one form or another and if you say you don't youre a liar and the truth isnt in you as it sums up in one of the epistles of John. so were all sinners who need his saving grace and forgiveness regardless.
ReplyHoney, even within the Rainbow Valley there are hardships as well. The gays and lesbians are seeing the sun, what about the Trans and Bisexuals? They're down below screaming for somebody to toss the rope and hold it, so they can climb as well.
ReplyThe Bible can be interpreted in many ways just like any other books as each revelation is different per individual. And people live according to their beliefs. Their lives are the result of their beliefs. The society today is the result of their beliefs. Humanity today is the result of their beliefs. What are beliefs? These are the thoughts a person keeps thinking about that affects his behavior and eventually his life. The opinion and attitude of people around and with you are the result of what they believe in and their reactions are really based on them and have nothing to do with you. You just want to be free and release that love inside you, so what is wrong with that? Love has no gender, limitless, boundless and unconditional....and these are what humanity's true nature is all about that we haven't fully achieved yet because of the separation beliefs we have created. What do you believe? Is it serving you?Does it work for you? What does your core tell you? Is is worth fighting for? Then fight for it...
