Hi! I'm Lea. Maybe you think this is some cheesy romance stuff... But I'm only 13... I have no romance.... Exept in my head! I live in Croatia and I've been learning English for 10 years now. We celebrated valentine's day in my school, so my teacher wanted to do something special. Sooo.. the school rented the theater and I was chosen, along with some other students, to recite a love poem. I'm not that of a love fanatic, but I took the job for extra credit.
First day of rehearsal
I went to my school on Saturday and met my co-workers. Among them was a boy... Let's call him John. He looked like Peeta from the Hunger Games, only with blue eyes and a smile that swept me of my feet. At first I ignored him. I made a friend. But then we spent more and more time together and I think he started to really like me, and I really liked him. The day of the show he was supposed to recite the song Anabele Lee by Edgar Allen Poe. We were next to each other, but at a distance, as well as other two kids and our guitarist (we thought it would be nice if we had a little acoustic guitar to love songs). He started to talk, and I was charmed! He talked so passionately and then... His eyes met mine... He looked at me! He sang the most romantic song I've ever heard to me! The show was great.. But then I heard that he goes in a different group than me and that he goes to my English school on different days than I do.. I was embarrassed because I have never had such a strong crush on someone! Outside the theater was the last time I saw him. What should I do? Should I ask my teacher for his number?

Hi Lea! If you really think he is something special then I think you should go for it. Who knows... it can turn out to be something really great! Even if you only become friends, that is a lovely thing.
ReplyHey! Don't be embarrassed! Having a crush is a beautiful time in your life! I have a crush on a wonderful, kind hearted lady, and howdy do I am not embarrassed! Enjoy the happiness and jolly good feelings having a crush has to offer! Secondly, if you do want his number, I wouldn't straight out ask for it without him knowing, for him it would be a jolly shocker for him! π If you ever can, place a note near or where he often goes, with his name on it of course! Inside, maybe write to him with kind, happy words, and include your phone number! Even if you two meet again, ask for his number, and give him yours! That might just work! Also, remember! Stay positive, smile, and don't be embarrassed! Having a crush is wonderful! It gives you this feeling, a very lovely feeling that makes you feel just amazing! So I hope my advice helps ya! Have a jolly good time! π
ReplyNO! You are only 13 which is much too young to be carrying on like this. Wait a few more years until you bother about boys. Enjoy your childhood.
ReplyG'day. My advice? Find out if he's in a relationship. If he is, drop it. You don't want to mess nothin' up. I wonder if I sound American. I 'ope not. I took A_Writer as my name in secrecy. You can discern nothin' 'bout me. Don't ask a teacher. They'll probably stare at you for 20 awkward seconds, then walk away silently.
