Hi Readers,
I don’t know who is reading this but I’d like to start by thanking you for clicking on this to help. For starters I have psychogenic stress triggered seizures and they’ve been all over the place nowadays. I’m in so much pain and I feel so alone. I wish I had someone to tell me that it’ll all be alright. I’m in need of a friend. Please help.

My Unsent Letter

You've got a friend here :) I have Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy, so while my seizures aren't specifically triggered by emotional or mental distress, stress was a major trigger until I learned how to recognize my warning signs and deal with them quickly. I promise that things will be alright and that it's just a learning process. And don't feel bad or anything about being "all over the place" right now-- the situation we're all in is stressful and interrupting our lives, making it hard to maintain our sense of 'normal' in our day-to-day lives. (My depression has started acting up, for example.) If you reply I can send you an email address, and maybe we can keep talking :)
