I am struggling with turning in assignments right now. The information I am learning right now is completely unrelated to school and I am receiving low grades despite being one of the first people to turn them in. Emailing the teacher does not do anything at this point because they do not even respond yet have time to post "Your child is missing an assignment" to my parents. Should I even be doing schoolwork at this point?

Nothing here but rants

I think that instead of 7 hours of useless information, high school should teach you about the real world and how to pay taxes and get a job interview.
ReplyI’m sorry that you don’t have teachers who you can look up to. A good teacher can make their subject so interesting to learn that you look forward to learning more. I know you are probably learning troves more but sadly in a world so full of people, what we look like on paper really matters.. because a lot of people will only ever see us on paper. One or two grades don’t matter much but the overall education does have an effect on life. The only other way to make a life would be if you are really good with people and that too the right kind of people or if you have an exceptional business acumen or if you are a genius and can create something that will wow the world. Or if you are all of those things above.. then by all means go head leave all your homework.
ReplyYou should be taught in school about the earth's equilibrium, how to budget your money for when you leave school and home, and taught about real estate.
