As someone who typically sits on the sidelines, observing things that have been recently floating throughout the world, has been ... interesting to say the least. I feel like our world is going, um, insane. I understand the BLM movement, but I don't see the point in protests which lead to more police brutality. I don't agree with a lot of things going on lately. The BLM movement is actually becoming more of a hassle by the second, in my opinion, because if you don't post something about it, you're on the brutality side, and so on. It doesn't seem worth it to fight for a cause if we're being forced into it. I assume the movement wouldn't have been so harsh, unnecessarily damaging, or forced if the COVID-19 stuff wasn't going on. That has obviously caused stress to build up; however, I still do not see the point of escalating it so far. A year ago today my mom attempted to get rid of me and my siblings. Not because she didn't love us, but because she wanted to get rid of herself. Everything has been sorted, and she has done a lot to better herself and so have we, however, you don't just go unbothered by past events. Obviously, as the George Floyd act wasn't okay, but everyone needs to get their facts straight on who George Floyd was. He wasn't as great as he seems, no that doesn't mean he deserved to die. It seems as if the world is so stressed that it's willing to pick fights about everything. I'm just saying this doesn't seem very smart.

My Unsent Letter
Hi...I m feeling very stressed. Gng in circle of thoughts..I hate that man ..can't live without him..can't live with him.why I m so tatally dependent on him..he...
There is another group out there with the BLM protests, and this group is tearing down and vandalising statues to get rid of America's history. This group is also behind defunding the police, and people are already being offered jobs as tracers whose jobs entail knocking on people's doors, testing them for coronavirus and if the people have it they will be carted off to a compound. The group is trying to change USA's society into a totalitarian society where no one will own their own homes because they will be seized by the government who will also be into everybody's business. People will probably be living in poverty. This type of society doesn't have a police force as we know it. It has secret police. Many people have died from this virus in the USA which makes the population easier to control, and there are a huge amount of people out of work which is what this group wants. Watch the Christian and political show 'Frances and Friends' to find out what is going on. USA could change altogether.
ReplyThe American people will not allow this to happen. They will rise up to stop this because we are a free people. It will never happen.
ReplyIt doesn't matter who George was. That is the point. People should not be solely defined by their mistakes in life, anyway. That is why the laws are changing. So, people like George can make a mistake and become more than just their mistake. But, George will never get that chance, will he?
From the time I was 6 or 7, I knew black people were treated differently. Their punishment was different, often times much harsher for the same exact mistake I had made. And Lord help them if they were poor and black. I was a child, and I knew. It was obvious. I don't understand why people find it so hard to see this. It truly baffles me. And, yes, in my own small way I tried to change it, but this is something much bigger than me.
When a person finally stands up and says "enough", their rage can be blind and destructive. It doesn't make it right, but that is just the way it is. It takes an enormous amount of self control to stop. Sometimes you have to grab onto anything to drag yourself out of it. This why we have "rage rooms" now. It's a place to go where someone can release their rage in a safe environment.
In this BLM case, this is not just one voice of rage, but many voices. I think it's best to be quiet and listen to their stories, truly listen and try to understand.
ReplyAs a 16 year old, I agree with you. I can't really say this to anybody because they'll get offended but it's true stuff. We're just causing chaos and adults are also participating which is influencing my generation to overreact in situations like these. People have been fighting racism for a long time and I support it. But everyone has over reacted. As for small businesses, I feel so sorry for those families. We destroyed other peoples lives just by these protests that happened.
