I have a new problem. I used to have little mini heart attacks (that feeling when you lose your phone) but never in my life have I experienced anxiety like this. I get panic attacks and I feel like a crazy person, losing touch with reality in that moment. I know at the end of the day that everything will be okay, but I just don't know how to break the irrational fears... Can somebody please help me??

ReplyI know that not everyone has access to mental health resources, and not everyone has the support to seek out help without feeling judged, so here are two alternative options to help you cope:
-Meditation. There are many (free) apps for meditation these days, and you can try out a few to find one that's the right fit for you. If not, there are blogs, websites, or youtube channels that you can check out if you're interested. Meditation is something you can do on your own, and you only free time to do it. Quieting an overactive mind can make a big difference, even if it's for as little as 2 minutes a day.
-Exercise. This one might not be something that's possible for everyone, but if you're able to, try exercising for at least 30 minutes a day. Being active helps your brain to produce endorphins and other feel-good chemicals that can help you feel at ease. Running is especially effective, but there's a pandemic happening so you may want to consider exercising indoors if you're particularly at risk. You don't need equipment, and you can follow beginner routines on youtube to help you get started.
Both of these have helped me cope with my anxiety, and I'm hoping they can help you out. If you're able to get professional help, I would 100% recommend doing it. If not, I hope these tips help you out in some way.
