I just got into college, new place, new environment, but I become anxious and doubting whether I can handle my studies and this new place where I had to live in a dorm with 3 other people. My room is my privacy, it's also the place where I'm comfortable when it comes to expressing my emotions especially if I'm sad. Now, I can feel the sadness rush deep inside of me but I couldn't express it because I had to live with 3 stranger that I never met before. I'm becoming friends with them. But this rush need to be out right away, because I used to supress my sadness, my tears. And I made a promise to myself once that I have to be true to myself, which helped me to the person I am today. What should I do about this feeling? I feel like I have to be home right now.

If you are sad you may be depressed and should see a doctor. You are having a negative reaction to your start at college. So at least try to look at your situation in an optimistic way. Be pleased that you are in college and that you can hopefully make 3 friends which is a good start. All the best.
ReplyListen new places people experiences are so so scary. Take some time to find something anything that would bring even the slightest smile to your face. Whether it’s reading, working out, etc. Maybe start writing down your feelings or thoughts. But here’s the thing being sad is going to make things worse, it’s gonna drag you down and your not gonna have any fun. Time is a valuable thing give it a little then if you feel the same come back to this topic. I get super high anxiety during the school year but what helps me is finding something I enjoy. If you are sad then feel free to talk to someone. You got it good luck.
